Harwood

In the spring of 2002, Harwood initiated an art school, which offers a wide range of studio art classes designed for both professional and amateur artists. In the spring of 2008 we added a music program as well. Courses in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, traditional arts and mixed media, taught by skilled and accomplished artists from the community, provide an affordable alternative to anyone seeking training and instruction. The Art School at Harwood also offers portfolio development to high school students who are planning to study art in college or attend an art school. Studio art classes meet once a week for eight weeks during the fall, winter and spring sessions.
