Harwood

Since 1996, Harwood has offered a free After-School Art Program through Albuquerque community centers.  Children enrolled at the Barelas and Wells Park Community Centers are eligible for the program which takes place on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons concurrent with the Albuquerque Public Schools calendar.  Children, ages 6-12, work individually and collaboratively on projects with some of Albuquerque's most talented artists. Completely supported by the generosity of local funders, Harwood's After-School Art Program offers enrichment and arts education for children unlikely or unable to find it on their own.
