1. Let Me Say This About That
Bryan Konefsky

In a rare public appearance, professional product tester and visualiste Bryan Konefsky presents a gallery exhibit of film-poems and video installations as an homage to National Poetry Month.  In this exhibition, Konefsky’s camera will respond to the poetic voices of his favorite word-smiths and spoken word artists.

2. The Face Of .  .  .
Toby Stopper, Aleathia Castallian and Fran Chavez
curated by Krystine Graziano

The face is a quintessential billboard for the myriad experiences — emotional, physical and spiritual — expressing who we are.  The images in this show are a means for each artist to document his or her personal perceptions of the people they live with though observation. This show uses the face, literally or its presence, to talk about our experience of being a collective human conscious.  The Face Of… brings together 3 young artists who use art to search for that essential connection to the people and places they encounter.

3. Lost: Albuquerque: A Short Graffiti Era
Christopher Lucas

A collection of documentary photographs of Albuquerque’s best graffiti from 2005 and 2006.

4. Three Expressions
Raymond Audain

Audain pursues three objectives using art as the expression of his view and voice. First, he portrays the Albuquerque and Santa Fe cityscapes and the New Mexico landscape using minimalist color washes and lively splashes against negative spaces to reveal the abstract essences of New Mexico forms. Second, he provokes critical thought concerning contemporary societal and political issues using the highly expressive potential of multiple media collage to layer his personal voice onto the subjects of his portraiture and world they inhabit. Third, he tries to capture a person or scene at a very specific very moment using free flowing black and white sketches, done during his travels.
