The  Fourth Molt

Branden Koch

The Fourth Molt, an installation by NYC Painter Branden Koch configures the gallery as a space fixed for decor and leisure.  Contextualizing Painting within a confounding tableau of subtle humor, this project sites the ready-made of Art History as a drop cloth for poetic social critique.

“Layers” Collection of Sculptural Steel, Iron, and Paint

Anthony Guntren

Layers is an exhibition that represents both the collective connections that bind the world in which we live as well as the layers that have built my individual development as an artist over the course of what might be numerous lifetimes. For better or worse, metal defines the accomplishment of the human race and ambition of the 2oth century; our cities are built with vast iron beams, sheets of steel encase our automobiles, and our weapons are forged from various metal alloys. As the sands of the hourglass drop, our wastelands become littered with metal. I have been working with abandoned steel and iron that has been left to decay on the dry earth of the Navajo Reservation. The metal that I seek has age, because with age comes experience and character.  Through chemical, spiritual, and natural reactions, layers of rust and oxidized paint disintegrate into great beauty that visually defines the passing of time. I collect, cut and compose pieces to reflect the immense network that associates all of “life, as I attempt to recycle materials and create an art from that can transcend from decay to permanence.

Fanciful Food

Leona Rubin

Leona Rubin presents "Fanciful Food", oil paintings of fruits and vegetables in an imaginative new way.  In the past, she had displayed Southwest style art in shows and galleries.  When her son asked for something to decorate his restaurant, she began creating her current style.  The subject matter is not only fun, but also healthy.  Enjoy the work - it will brighten your day.
