Marion and Kathryn Crissey were sisters, life-long educators and a vital part of the Harwood Girls School community. Alumnae, teachers and friends have set up an award to honor the commitment of these two remarkable women.

The Marion & Kathryn Crissey Award is intended to support the endeavors of emerging artists who demonstrate a commitment to their artwork, their on-going education and the community in which they live.

Applicants must be residents of NM only and working in visual, literary or performing arts. Professional artists are not eligible. This includes artists who receive a significant income from their work, and/or artists with gallery representation.

Artists interested in applying can pick up an application at Harwood any time, or send a SASE requesting information. You can also download a PDF of the application HERE.

Applications must be postmarked no later than August 1, 2008.  Late applications will not be considered.
